RAINBOUND US

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 13, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Rainbound Us (the “Game”) handles information. The Game is a single-player interactive story and does not require an account. Core story progress can be played and stored locally on your device.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

The Game stores story progress and preferences locally using Apple platform storage. This may include your current chapter and scene, relationship choices, unlocked chapters and endings, selected ending, and music, sound, vibration, or autoplay settings. This information is used only to restore your experience and is not uploaded by the developer as part of a player account.

You can remove this information by using the in-game reset option or by deleting the Game from your device.

3. App Tracking Transparency and Advertising

On supported versions of iOS and iPadOS, the Game may display Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission request before advertising services are initialized. If you allow tracking, participating advertising partners may access the device advertising identifier (IDFA) to provide or measure advertising. If you deny or restrict permission, the IDFA is not made available through this flow. You may change this choice at any time in your device’s Privacy & Security > Tracking settings.

The Game includes third-party advertising SDKs from Chartboost, Yandex Mobile Ads, Vungle/Liftoff, and InMobi. Advertising SDKs are activated only when the Game receives a valid remote configuration for that platform. Depending on the active partner and your consent, these services may process device identifiers, IP address, general device and app information, coarse location inferred from IP address, ad interaction data, and diagnostic information for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and service security.

4. Security and Remote Configuration

The Game uses HSSecurity technology to help protect the application and advertising flow. It may process an app-scoped device identifier (IDFV), app and device information, and integrity or security signals for fraud prevention and service protection. The Game also contacts a remote configuration service using its bundle identifier to determine which supported advertising platforms and ad units may be enabled.

5. Third-Party Processing

Third-party providers process information under their own privacy policies and retention practices. Their handling may vary by region, consent status, SDK configuration, and the ads served. These providers are expected to protect information in a manner consistent with applicable law and their published policies. The developer does not sell your locally saved story progress.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Local story and settings data remains on your device until you reset progress or delete the Game. Information processed by third-party services is retained according to each provider’s policy and legal obligations. To ask about developer-controlled information or request assistance with a privacy or deletion request, contact the developer at the address below. We may direct requests concerning partner-controlled data to the relevant provider.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Game is not directed to children under 13. The developer does not knowingly create player accounts for or directly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a third-party service in connection with the Game, please contact us.

8. International Processing

Third-party service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, they are responsible for using appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

9. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when the Game, its SDK configuration, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when an update is published.
